Redmi India today announced the latest Redmi 9i as a part of their Redmi 9 series. This is a budget phone priced at Rs 8,299. We guess this is the last phone in the 9 Series from Redmi. The brand has already launched multiple phones in this series. Here are the specifications of Redmi 9i
Redmi 9i Specifications
Redmi 9i features a 16.5cm(6.53) HD+ IPS LCD display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has the octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 chipset clocked at 2.0 GHz. Redmi 9i in this segment has two variants, 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB. It also has a dedicated microSD card slot allowing expansion up to 512GB.
Like its siblings, This Smartphone is powered by a 5000mAh Enhanced two-day battery providing a longer lifespan as compared to a regular battery. ELB (Enhanced Lifespan Battery) ensures a longer battery lifespan of up to 2.5-3 years.
It comes with a 13MP AI camera on the rear with features such as AI Portrait mode, AI scene detection, document scanner, and kaleidoscope. It comes with a 5MP AI selfie camera with AI portrait mode, and helps with AI face unlock.

Redmi 9i Price & Availability
The Smartphone will be available in three color variants, Nature Green, Sea Blue, Midnight Black in 4GB + 64GB, and 4GB + 128GB storage variants for INR 8299 and INR 9299 respectively across mi.com, Flipkart, Mi Homes, and Offline Stores starting 18th September 2020.
